At Open Arms Living LLC, we provide Non-Medical Transportation services to help individuals safely access essential community activities, services, and supports. This service is designed to promote independence, social inclusion, and active participation in everyday life for individuals receiving HCBS waiver services in Colorado.
Our transportation support helps individuals travel to and from approved, non-medical destinations that are essential to daily living and community engagement.

What Is Non-Medical Transportation?
Non-Medical Transportation refers to supportive travel assistance for individuals who are unable to independently access community resources due to a disability or support need.
This service helps ensure individuals can remain active in their communities while maintaining safety, consistency, and reliability in transportation.
Services We Provide

Who Can Receive These Services?
Supported Living Services (SLS) Waiver
Children’s Extensive Support (CES) Waiver
Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver (when applicable under service plan authorization)
Community First Choice (CFC/IHSS) (if included in approved support services)
Services must be authorized through the individual’s service plan and case management agency.

Helpful Resources
Case Management Agencies (CMAs)
Case managers coordinate HCBS services and determine eligibility and approval for Non-Medical Transportation under the individual’s service plan.
Health First Colorado (Medicaid)
Medicaid funds approved HCBS waiver services, including Non-Medical Transportation when included in an individual’s authorized supports.
Community First Choice (CFC / IHSS)
DD Waiver: Supports individuals with developmental disabilities
SLS Waiver: Supports adults living in the community
CES Waiver: Supports children with developmental and medical/behavioral needs
CFC/IHSS: Supports independent living in the home and community
